Situated in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum traces the history of Pine Bluff and Jefferson County from 1830 to the present. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Housed in a restored Union Station depot, the museum exhibits antique dolls and artifacts from the Civil War, World War I and World War II. It depicts the development of area transportation, including on the Arkansas River, roads, and rail, and the story of the Arkansas state flag. In addition, the museum houses a collection of decoys, guns, duck calls and taxidermy from the Delta, and pottery made and used by the Quapaw Indians.Other items of note are Victorian furniture, clothing, quilts, an Indian exhibit with arrowheads that dated to 8,000 B.C., bits and pieces of black history in Jefferson County, tools, collections of relics and cotton farming implements.
